About Grace Haven Homestead

Grace Haven Homestead is a family-run farm and retreat space created to give families, children, and communities a place to slow down, reconnect, and experience life a little more intentionally.

What started as a simple vision—to step away from the noise and pressure of modern life—has grown into a homestead centered around faith, stewardship, and meaningful connection. We believe there is something deeply grounding about being outdoors, caring for animals, working with your hands, and spending uninterrupted time together.

Here at Grace Haven, we open our land and our hearts to others through private farm tours, hands-on animal experiences, homeschool field trips, birthday celebrations, and small group gatherings. Our animals aren’t just something to look at—they’re part of the experience. Guests are encouraged to slow down, ask questions, learn, and interact in a way that builds respect, empathy, and curiosity.

Our mission is simple: to create a space where families can disconnect from the rat race and reconnect—with God, with each other, and with the natural world. Everything we do is rooted in values like responsibility, self-government, community, and sustainability. We believe real growth happens when kids (and adults) are given room to explore, move their bodies, and experience life beyond screens.

Grace Haven Homestead is also a place of vision for the future. As we continue to grow, we plan to expand offerings such as camps, retreats, lodging, and community events—all while staying true to the heart of what this place was built for: creating meaningful experiences that point people back to what truly matters.

Whether you’re visiting for a tour, celebrating a special day, or simply looking for a place where your family can breathe a little deeper—we’re honored to welcome you to Grace Haven.

What to Expect During Your Visit

A visit to Grace Haven Homestead is meant to feel unhurried, welcoming, and intentional. From the moment you arrive, our goal is to create a space where families can slow down, ask questions, and truly engage with the experience.

A Guided, Personal Experience

All visits to Grace Haven Homestead are guided and by appointment only. This allows us to give each group our full attention and create a safe, meaningful experience for both guests and animals. You won’t be rushed, and you won’t be sharing the space with large crowds.

Hands-On Animal Interaction

Guests will have the opportunity to interact with and learn about our animals in a respectful, hands-on way. We take time to explain animal care, behavior, and stewardship, helping children (and adults) develop curiosity, empathy, and understanding.

Family-Friendly and Educational

Our experiences are designed for all ages, making them ideal for families, homeschool groups, and small gatherings. Kids are encouraged to move, explore, and ask questions, while parents can relax knowing the environment is safe, structured, and purposeful.

Outdoor, Working Homestead Environment

Grace Haven Homestead is a real, working farm, not a theme park. Expect outdoor walking, uneven ground, and time spent in nature. Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended.

A Peaceful Pace

This is not a fast, check-the-box visit. We intentionally keep the pace calm so families can enjoy meaningful moments together—without distractions, pressure, or screens.
